My second favorite time of year as far as sports are concerned, only to bowl time. The sooners looked real strong in their first round game. I am looking forward to see how well they do. I have three brackets filled out so we will see how smart I am I was 12 and 4 in two of them on Thursday so that's not doing to great.

Maddie's new words are -----> ME ME ME and MINE MINE MINE!

It is amazing how at 18 months a child can already have that instinct.

I am starting back on my diet. I went from 384 to 275 between March and September of last year. I have not lost anything since then, but I haven't gained either!! I think this is a good time of year to be on a diet so I would like to loose about 50 more over the summer. So its back to 1500 calories and 25 grams of fat. I believe in the good ole fashioned way of loosing weight. The akins diet doesn't work because it doesn't teach you to change your lifestyle.

Well I have a test this weekend for my American Government Class and I need to study for the two classes I am going to teach this week. I always wait until the last minute for some reason.

I am extremly excited to find out that my boy Dale Davis will be back in a pacers uniform. Brings back good memories of close games with the Bulls.

Also, my Sooners have shocked the Big 12 world and it looks like they will be a #1 seed in the Big 12 tournament. Kelvin really knows how to take a group of guys and make them work together. So here is to a 2 or 3 seed in the big dance and hopefully we will see the Sweet 16 and maybe even better.

Life is still kinda catching back up after the trip to Mexico. I really enjoy my new job and it keeps me extreamly busy. MB's latest words are SHOES and CHESSE. She knows how to turn on the CD player now so we do alot of dancing to some song called "Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road" if I hear it one more time I may have to be admitted to the hospital in Norman!

Sorry it has been so long since I last posted. I have been extremely busy since getting back from my trip to Mexico. Ahh Mexico, if only I didn't have to leave. Since I have been back here are the main thoughts or questions I have:

Why do I live where there is no Ocean?

Why do I live where you have to have a heavy coat in the morning and it is nice enough during the day that you leave said coat at work? (Leave your coat at school weather)?

I don't think I recall the flu or the 24 hour bug (which my whole family has had) going around in Puerto Vallarta!

I should of bought some of that prozac in Mexico to deal with all of the depression since.
