Football Conspiracy! (First the Sooners and now the Colts)

Enough is enough. I listened to all of the hype before the Colts game this weekend and really had my hopes up that this would be the year that Manning and company got it done against New England. I was so excited that the team I loved was in such a great position and 4 out of 5 people were picking them to win. Well I guess 4 out 5 people were wrong. The Colts not only lost, but they got demolished.

I am sitting there on Sunday as Payton begins to hang his head and the players all begin to loose hope and I realize that I have just been through this on January 4th. The Oklahoma Sooners gave the same such hype-busting performance when USC mopped them up. Same hype before the game, and everything. I don't understand why the teams I like are over-rated going into big games, but I don't think I can take anymore of it. I could handle losing as long as my team plays a good game. But no more of this "oh well were the best" and then just laying a big ole egg. I'm not going jump off the bandwagon or anything like that, but this has just been a weird year for the teams I follow.

On the bright side, I don't think I will have to worry about the Pacers being over-rated.
